2010 Tim Horton's Brier
The 2010 Tim Horton's Brier will be staged at the Metro Centre in
Halifax, March 6-14, 2010. It will mark the sixth time the
city has hosted the Canadian men's curling championship, after
staging the 1951, 1966, 1981, 1995 and 2003 Briers. Halifax will
join Calgary and Toronto as the only cities to have staged the Brier
at least six times, since it began in 1927, when the 81st edition
gets underway.

2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts
The Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be held at the ESSAR Centre
in Sault Ste. Marie, January 30 – February 7, 2010. The city has
successfully hosted other national events, including the 2008 M&M
Meat Shops Canadian Juniors, the 1990 Brier and the 1978 Lassie (the
forerunner to the Scotties), which was won by Manitoba's Cathy
Pidzarko.

CCA's Learn to Curl
The Canadian Curling Association is pleased to bring you an exciting
new way to learn about curling. With the use of Macromedia
Flash animations, "The Sport of Curling" has now become interactive
and provides information on equipment, outlines the basics of
curling, and demonstrates some commonly played shots.
